Stop Asthma Attacks - Free Report

This is the formula that my son has been taking for the last 10 months. (See list at the end of this report.) This is the first fall and winter in his life that he hasn’t had a virus or sinus infection that aggravated his asthma. This is also the first fall and winter when he hasn’t had to use his nebulizer or use steroids.

Last winter and every winter before that throughout his life, we were constantly consulting his doctor and his allergist. He’s been on albuterol, serevent, cromolyn and several other inhalers, but they never worked for long. And most had side effects that were almost as bad as the asthma.

The steroids made him cranky and constantly hungry. The albuterol gave him insomnia and made him irritable. We were worried about the inhaled steroids because we know they can lead to cataracts later in life.

Then I read an article about how Vitamin D can reduce inflammation. Asthma is inflammation of the airways, so I wondered if Vitamin D would have any effect. He started on 1,000 IU’s once a day and thought there was a little change for the better, so we upped it to 2,000 IU’s in two doses.

Within days, he reported that he was using his albuterol inhaler less often. That’s when I started to research other supplements that lessen inflammation. One by one, we added them to his regimen. The biggest change we noticed was with the quercetin/bromelain mix. Almost immediately, he said that his chest didn’t feel so tight.

Surprisingly, he also told me that he felt sharper, more focused and his memory was better. As an experiment, he stopped taking the quercetin and bromelain for three days and noticed that the focus, memory and thinking improvements went away, along with the decreased chest tightness. So he started taking it again, first at the highest dose and then gradually at a smaller and smaller dose until he reached the maintenance level.

Through trial and error, he eventually settled on the formula below and has been taking it for almost a year now. That’s long enough for us to believe that the improvement he’s gotten from this formula is permanent, as long as he continues to take it.

Of course, I’m not a doctor nor is he (he’s a teenager), so this is not medical advice. If you or your child has asthma, I urge you to consult your/their doctor before you try this or any other change in treatment. Read the labels on the supplements especially any warnings or contraindications. And, of course, you should never stop asthma medication without consulting your doctor. Some medicines need to be tapered off, especially steroids.

If you do want to try this - after consulting your doctor - start with the highest dose of quercetin and stay there for at least a week, or longer if your asthma is still active. Then gradually decrease the quercetin/bromelain dose until you’re at maintenance level, taking long enough at each point of decrease to make sure that it’s still working.

You can buy these supplements at a local natural food store or use the affiliate links here to buy them on the net. Please, if you try this, let me know how it works for you and whether you made any changes that made it work better. Email me at lill@lillslist.com
